POSTDOCTRAL POSITIONS

The Center for Artificial Vision Research at Korea University
invites applications for two full-time post-doctral fellow positions.
The postdoc will participate in a research project entitled
"Artificial Vision Research based on Biological Vision Models",
funded by Creative Research Initiative Program of Korea Ministry of
Science and Technology.

The following topics will be within the range of our activities,
and the candidate will work on one of them:

(1) Computational model for biological vision
(2) Selective attention/Foveation
(3) Visual perception
(4) Active vision
(5) Motion analysis

A background in computational modeling or vision science is preferable.
An interest in experimental as well as computational work would be useful.
Strong C programming skills would be a plus. Term will be 2 years, though
it will be extendable up to 3 years, starting sometime between January 1st
and August 31th, 1998. Salary will start with US $25,000, and it will be
commensurate with experience up to US $40,000.
