Position 1
Tenure Track Position with Emphasis in Ocular Disease
The University of Houston College of Optometry is recruiting to fill a
tenure track position for an individual with expertise in ocular disease.
Responsibilities include didactic teaching in the professional program,
scholarship, clinical teaching, and patient care. Ability to attract
external funding is desirable. An O.D. and/or M.D. or D.O. is required,
with advanced research training (Ph.D. or M.S.) or research experience
desirable. The successful candidate must have or obtain a license, with TPA
certification, to practice optometry in Texas, or have or obtain a license
to practice medicine in Texas.

Tenure Track Assistant Professor in Pediatrics and Binocular Vision
The University of Houston College of Optometry seeks one full-time tenure
track Assistant Professor with an emphasis in pediatrics and binocular
vision. Responsibilities include didactic teaching, scholarship, clinical
teaching, and patient care. Ability to attract external funding is
desirable. A Doctor of Optometry degree with advanced research training
(Ph.D. or M.S.) is required. The successful candidate must have or obtain a
license, with TPA certification, to practice optometry in Texas.
