POSTDOCTORAL FELLOWSHIP, Laboratory of Vision Research
Rutgers University, Piscataway, New Jersey
Tenable for 1 to 2 years in the Laboratory of Vision
Research at Rutgers University to start March 1, 1998.
The Laboratory is headed by Bela Julesz. The research team
that the postdoctoral associate will interact with includes
Thomas Papathomas, Ilona Kovacs, and Akos Feher.
The project involves psychophysical experiments in
binocular rivalry, perceptual organization, and issues
of attention. The candidate should have an interest in visual
psychophysics in general, and a working background
in neurophysiology, and biological modeling.
Some mathematical sophistication and familiarity with C
programming is an asset.
