DEPARTMENT OF OPTOMETRY AND VISION SCIENCE
VISITING OPHTHALMOLOGIST
The department wishes to make a temporary appointment to the position
of Visiting Ophthalmologist. The duties associated with this position
include undergraduate teaching in the Bachelor of Optometry course and
in postgraduate clinical programmes. It is expected that the
successful applicant will have a medical qualification and experience
in clinical ophthalmology. The successful applicant will be
encouraged to participate in the research activities of the
department. This appointment will be at Senior Lecturer level on the
medical scale, currently $96,200 per annum for the second academic
semester (20 July to 14 November 1998) or for a lesser period by
