Postdoctoral Fellow/Research Fellow
(Level A/Level B - Non Continuing)
Applications are invited for two positions at the Postdoctoral Fellow
(Level A) or Research Fellow (Level B), one funded by the National Health
and Medical Research Council and the other by the Australian Research
Council, and involving the study of neural mechanisms underlying visual
perception in the mammalian central nervous system. Potential applicants
should have a strong background in sensory physiology and experience in
electrophysiological and anatomical techniques. Familiarity with computer
programming for visual stimulus displays and data analysis will be highly
regarded. The positions are available for one year in the first instance,
but may be renewable up to December 1999.
Salary: Postdoctoral Fellow (Level A) $37,422 - $45,159pa
Research Fellow (Level B) $47,435 - $55,966pa
