Eastman Kodak Company currently has an available summer internship and
full time position available for persons interested in applying visual
perception research to the understanding of display image quality.
These positions are described below:
Internship in Imaging and Perception at Eastman Kodak Company
Summer internships are currently available in Kodak's Research and
Advanced Development Division. Selected individuals will be given the
opportunity to work on the development and application of human visual
models, prediction of image quality using statistical properties of
images, and/or techniques for the psychophysical assessment of images to
validate existing image quality related models.
Successful candidate(s) will be enrolled in a graduate program in
Psychology, Vision Science, Computer Science, Image Processing, or
related field. Interested individuals should apply by providing a

--Research Scientist Position in Image Perception
In this position you will conduct research to understand and model the perception of the quality of pictorial images.
Qualified candidates will have a Graduate Degree in Psychology, Human Factors, Vision Science, Computer Science, or related disciplines.
This position requires specialized skills or knowledge in the following areas:
1. Human Visual Perception 2. Psychophysics 3. Statistics and Experimental Design
This individual should be able to function as a part of a multidisciplined team working to understand image quality perception. Additional desirable skills include knowledge of image processing and methods for characterizing imaging system performance, as well as, C, C++, Matlab, and UNIX skills.
