Research Assistant, low vision rehabilitation research

Full-time position in a lab devoted to hi-tech analysis of human vision.
Assist in computer analysis of image perception, test patients' vision with
laser and computer-video devices, maintain records, analyze data, assist in
grants and articles, interact with clinical staff and elderly visually
impaired patients.
Bachelors or masters level degree with strong science background, or
appropriate research experience required. Experience with use of various
computer systems and standard software packages is needed, programming
skills are beneficial but not required. Willingness to learn about the
eye, vision, optics, electronics, and computers is most important. Strong
organizational and communication skills are required.
Available immediately, Salary commensurate with skills and experience,
excellent benefits.
