Subject: Professor H. J. A. Dartnall (1913-1998)

The death occurred on January 24th 1998 of Professor H. J. A. Dartnall,
former Director the Medical Research Council's Vision Unit and a founder
Editor of Vision Research. His work on visual pigments will be well known
to many members of CVNet.
