PROFESSOR/READER IN VISION SCIENCES
SALARY: UP TO =A3 38,950
The Department of Vision Sciences wishes to appoint at Professor/Reader
level an individual who can make a major contribution to the Department's
research activities.
Applicants should have an outstanding record of research in Vision Sciences
and/or Optometry in an area consistent with, or complimentary to, the
current departmental research activity. The Department has organised
research into four groups which include Anterior Eye Physiology, Visual
Psychophysics, Ocular Motor Function and Visual Development. This work is
undertaken by 18 research active academic staff and a postgraduate student
cohort of up to 20 who are registered for PhD degrees. The successful
individual will also be required to contribute to the Department's
undergraduate teaching programme in Optometry.
