INDUSTRIAL RESEARCH POSITION at RODENSTOCK, GERMANY, MUNICH
VISUAL PSYCHOPHYSICS
Assist in testing normal humans to measure optical properties of spectacle
lenses and related visual sensitivity. Will be responsible for test design,
recruiting subjects, testing visual function, assessing trial wearer status
by questionnaire, and computer-based statistical analysis of data. Goal of
project is to test how vision is influenced by different spectacle lens
designs. Basic questions will also be pursued. Assessment of refractional
status and German language knowledge are required. Experience with
programming in C++ and spectacle lens design a plus.
This position can either be at postdoctoral level or senior research
assistant. Three years' commitment is expected. For a recent paper on part
of the subject that gives references to our earlier work as well see:
