Subject: kalidiscopes for rats.

Dear Colleagues,
We are in search of optical elements that will "randomize" the visual
field for rat pups. The distortion must be such that the animal can not
use the visual stimulus for ego-centric spatial navigation. Also the
elements must be light enough that they can be incorporated into a device
that will allow a rat pup mobility. Because adaptation must be prevented
several different and/or rotating optics may be required. Input on a
theoretical basis for visual "randomization" (associationless stimulus)
would also be welcome. Your help is very much appreciated.
Regards
Bruce
