LECTURESHIP

The School of Optometry at Queensland University of Technology, Brisbane,
Australia, is seeking to appoint an additional lecturer. The appointee will
teach optometry and
vision science in both the professional optometry course and at the
postgraduate level, and will conduct research in the Centre for Eye
Research. The position, which is available from January 1999, is tenurable.

Applicants should have a higher degree in the area, an established record of
research in optometry or vision science; and demonstrated ability to teach
at a tertiary level. An optometric qualification is desirable but not
essential.

Salary is in the range AUD $46,539 to $55,268 pa.
