Postdoctoral Position in applied and basic aspects of 3D vision

A postdoctoral position is available September 1st, 1998 for
someone with interests in 3D film technology and human visual psychophysics
(more specifically stereoscopic depth perception). This individual will be
primarily involved in a new collaborative venture between the IMAX film
corporation and our laboratory at York University. As such this project
will provide a rare opportunity to address both applied and basic science
issues.
I am looking for an individual with a strong computational
and programming skills (C/C++) particularly using SGI workstations, UNIX,
and current graphics packages. In addition, applicants must have some
knowledge of psychophysical methodology, and have research experience at
the Ph.D. level.
This is currently a 1 year position with the possibility of
renewal. The salary is consistent with current MRC/NSERC standards and will
be adjusted according to experience and skill level. If you are interested
