THE DEPARTMENT OF PSYCHOLOGY, UNIVERSITY OF ILLINOIS AT
URBANA-CHAMPAIGN, invites applications for a full-time tenure-track
position in Perception (or related areas such as Attention and Visual
Cognition). It is likely that we will hire at the beginning Assistant
Professor level, but more senior candidates with exceptional records are
welcome to apply. The primary criteria for appointment will be
excellence in research and teaching (Ph.D. required). The position will
begin August 21, 1999. Salary is dependent upon experience and
qualifications. Interested persons should send a vita, a statement of
research and teaching interests, at least three letters of
recommendation, and pre/reprints to David E. Irwin, Chair, Perception
