Dear Hoover - Could you please circulate over CVNet.

Three postdoctoral research fellowships are available in the 'Visual
Psychophysics and Computational Vision' research group in the Division of
Vision Sciences at Aston University, UK.

The three projects are:
'A non-linear model of spatial filter binding for edge detection in human
vision' (1 year, EPSRC funded. Contact Dr Tim Meese)

'Enhancing colour-based discriminations using computer-designed optimal
viewing systems' (1 year, EPSRC funded. Contact Dr Lewis Griffin)

'Developing methods for studying the perception of achromatic surface
qualities' (6 months, Leverhulme Trust funded. Contact Dr Lewis Griffin)

Experience of research in visual psychophysics or machine vision is
preferred, but those with backgrounds in physics, computing science,
mathematics, engineering, experimental psychology or allied disciplines are
also encouraged to apply.

Starting salaries will be in the range 15,462 - 17,266 sterling per annum,
depending upon age.
