ASSISTANT PROFESSORS OF OPTOMETRY AND VISION SCIENCE

Two Assistant Professor, tenure-track positions are being offered for
clinicians and/or scientists conducting clinical or basic research related
to the eye or vision. Candidates should have an O.D., M.D. or Ph.D.
degree, postdoctoral experience (or equivalent), and a strong commitment to
excellence in teaching and research. Each successful applicant will be
expected to develop an innovative, independent research program that
attracts extramural funding, to participate in training graduate students
in the interdisciplinary Vision Science Program, and to teach
professional-level courses in the School of Optometry.

Applicants should include a curriculum vitae, names and telephone number of
three references, and a brief statement (maximum two pages) of research
objectives and teaching interests. Application or letter of intent must be
