ASSISTANT PROFESSOR IN NEUROBIOLOGY

The Biology Department invites applications from outstanding
candidates for a tenure track appointment at the assistant
professor level. We seek a colleague who uses modern
cellular, molecular or neurophysiological approaches to
address neurobiological questions from a systems perspective.
He/she will join a Biology Department with existing research
strengths in the areas of synaptic structure and function,
neural development and plasticity, sensory systems,
neuroethology and neuroendocrinology. Newly renovated
facilities and an attractive start-up package are offered.
Responsibilities will include establishing a research program
with extramural funding and active participation in undergraduate
and graduate teaching. Please submit by Dec. 15, 1998 a
curriculum vitae, a statement of research and teaching interests,
representative reprints, and names of three referees
