All,
Recently several scientific applications for the Macintosh have been
"put on hold" by their publishers (e.g. MATLAB, Systat, SPSS, and
Statistica). The MacPsych mailing list has put together a petition to be
sent to Apple and the software publishers calling for greater support of
scientific applications for the MacOS. So far we have 480 signatures in
the first week alone. If you are concerned with the future of the MacOS in
science and higher education, please take a look at our petition at:
