Applied Psychology, Research Fellow 1
Fixed-Term, Griffith University
Salary to $A42,699 (to be reviewed)

A Postdoctoral Research Fellow is to be appointed to the School of Applied
Psychology, for a fixed term of two years, with a possibility of renewal.
The successful appointee will possess a PhD in Experimental Psychology or
Visual Science, have a strong research record, and will conduct research
within one of the School's areas of research strength which includes vision
research, working in collaboration with Dr Trevor Hine. Dr Hine's specific
research interests are: relative motion illusions, colour vision, visual
problems in reading, and navigation in virtual environments using
dead-reckoning. The laboratory has use of a VSG 2/4, a 450 Mhz graphics
workstation (Linux) and various PCs and Macs. Programming skills in Linux/C
, OpenGL and on the VSG 2/3 are highly desirable. The appointment will be
for two years.
