I would appreciate it if you could direct to me to where or from whom I could get information on the efficacy of using corrective lens to correct for color defective vision in occupational settings. I have found several commercial sites on the WWW trying to see such products but no independent corroboration of their effectiveness.
I am a policy officer at the Canadian Human Rights Commission. We often received complaints from workers in industries such as the railways who have been refused employment or demoted because they failed colour screening tests. If there were reliable ways to correct colour vision defects this might assist such individuals in retaining their jobs.
Any information you could provide would be appreciated.
