POST-DOCTORAL FELLOW IN CLINICAL VISUAL PSYCHOPHYSICS

A two-year post-doctoral fellowship is being offered by the Devers Eye
Institute (in the laboratory of Chris A. Johnson, Ph.D.) and Department of
Ophthalmology, Dalhousie University (in the laboratory of Balwantray C.
Chauhan. Ph.D.) in the area of visual field progression in glaucoma. The
successful candidate will train for a year in each of the laboratories and
develop models of visual field behaviour using extensive computer simulation
and longitudinal patient data sets. Candidates should have a Ph.D. or
equivalent preferably in visual science and have a knowledge of clinical
visual psychophysics, specifically perimetry. Skills in biostatistical
analysis and programming languages are also required.
