The Department of Psychology at the University of Glasgow wishes to
recruit a PhD candidate suitable for an EPSRC Research Studentship.
Applications are invited from well qualified candidates who hold or
expect to obtain a degree in Psychology (or related discipline).
The studentship will start in October 1999.

Applicants interested in the following areas, in which the
department is currently active, are particularly welcome:

Brain and Cognition: visual cognition; object, scene & face
recognition; production and perception of human movement;
interactive virtual humans; perception of 3D form & movement;
natural constraints in vision; computational vision.

People and Technology: impacts of multimedia computer
technologies; human computer interaction.
