Postdoctoral Position in Color Vision
Visual Sciences Center, University of Chicago

A postdoctoral research position in Steve Shevell's laboratory will
be open in the fall. The research program investigates neural mechanisms
of color perception, chromatic adaptation, and color constancy, using
psychophysical experimentation and computational modeling. Excellent
laboratory facilities include optical and high resolution CRT systems (Mac
and Linux). The Visual Sciences Center is an active collaborative
environment that includes several psychophysics labs.

Applicants should have a strong background in psychophysical research
and computational modeling. Experience with C in a real-time Mac and/or
Linux environment would be a strong plus. Salary is according to the NIH
scale, and includes many university benefits. Exact appointment dates are
flexible.

Inquires by email are welcome. To apply, send a vita and the names
of 3 references.
