Subject: Announcement

Could you please post the following announcement:

Postdoctoral Fellowship available for studies of retinal function by
measuring the dynamic space-time patterns of activity generated across
different mosaics of retinal neurons from photoreceptors to ganglion cells.
This work will lead to deeper understanding of retinal function, and can
enhance our modeling of retinal activity using our neuromorphic retina-like
silicon chip. Developing a working retina-like silicon structure can have
applications in visual prosthesis. We seek individuals with experience in
patch clamp, retinal physiology, and neuronal modeling. Visit our website
at http://mcb.berkeley.edu/labs/werblin/ for more information.

Please contact Prof. Frank Werblin at werblin@socrates.berkeley.edu

Thank you,
