Dear Hoover,
please post the following correction/clarification
Dear colleagues,
It has come to my attention that the previous announcement about the
Documenta Ophthalmologica Special Issue was not clear
on a couple of points. I would like to post an expanded and more
accurate call for papers. Note, in particualar:-
A) The issue will cover ALL gross, slow potentials (ERG, EOG, PERG,
multifocal AND VEP) not just visal evoked potentials (VEPs, VERs,
CVEPs).
B) There is no deadline or time limit. The issue is open for
submissions till full. Overflow will go to standard subsequent issues of
documenta.
C) All those submitting will be liable to be asked to referee up to
two other papers submitted.
Corrected announcement follows:-
Last May The International Society for Clinical Electrophysiology of
Vision (ISCEV) voted to take responsibility for the total content of
Documenta Ophthalmologica, which now becomes the exclusive bimonthly
organ of the society.
To celebrate having their own journal, ISCEV has planned several
special issues. The first will recognise the unique importance of
all visually evoked slow gross potentials (ERG, EOG, PERG, multifocal
AND VEP) in testing in animal research and veterinary practice. There is
no deadline and the issue is open until sufficient papers are
received.
Overflow will go to standard subsequent issues of documenta. To
speed publication, those authors submitting papers will be liable to be
asked to referee up to two other papers submitted. The issue will be
guest edited by Vaegan who can be contacted for queries and manuscript
submissions at the addresses and contact points below.
ISCEV also issues a general call for papers, covering any aspect of
evoked potentials in vision or related topics, in human and clinical
as well as animal research. Submissions will be welcomed from any
vision scientist, even if not a member of the society.
They can be sent to the regular editor, Dr Vernon Odom whose contact
points are also listed below.
