I anticipate an opening for a research assistant/lab tech position.
The position is full-time and pays approximately $22,000. Good
quantitative skills, experience in conducting research in perception (or at
least relevant lab experience), and basic computer skills are all
desirable. Good writing skills are helpful, as are general shop skills.
The research is on tactile graphics and illusions in sighted and
blind people. The lab assistant will help with running experiments,
setting them up, preparing stimuli and equipment, working with data and
statistical analyses, and graphics.
