TWO JOB OPENINGS IN THE SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA
1) VISION PSYCHOPHYSICIST
We have an opening for a vision psychophysicist with solid and hands-on
experimental background. Preference will be given to candidates with a strong
statistics foundation, a background in either physics, engineering or
mathematics, and an analytical-quantitative approach to visual science.
2) RESEARCH ENGINEER/TECHNICIAN
We are also seeking a research engineer/technician with excellent manual
dexterity and model-building ability and who has experience in electronics
assembly, computers and hopefully some optics as well. The candidate should
be resourceful, have a positive attitude and produce quality work with
attention to detail. This is an excellent opportunity for an intelligent,
creative, self-driven, mechanically-inclined person. As part of a research
team the candidate will be responsible for building prototypes of an
innovative vision testing instrument.
