Neuroscience.

The research program is aimed at investigating the effects of spatial
attention on responses of neurons in extrastriate cortical areas in
nonhuman primates. Experimental approaches include psychophysics and
single unit recordings in monkeys performing behavioral tasks, with an
emphasis on quantitative comparisons between neural and perceptual
data.

Experience in visual psychophysics and single unit recordings is
preferred but candidates with strong background in systems neuroscience
and/or experience in other sensory systems are welcome to apply.
