The MAX-PLANCK-SOCIETY offers a
GROUP LEADER POSITION in
HUMAN COGNITION AND BEHAVIOR at the
FRIEDRICH-MIESCHER LABORATORIES
TÐBINGEN; GERMANY

The candidate should have a Ph.D. in cognitive science, experimental
psychology, bio-engineering, physics or computer science and have already
accomplished significant work for instance in perception, motor control or
cognitive development. A strong computational background is highly
desirable.
The contract is for a group leader position at the Assistant/Associate
Professor level (German University scale C2/C3) and limited to 5 years,
starting March 2000. Appropriate laboratory space, equipment, and running
costs, as well as the salaries for one additional postdoctoral scientist,
one graduate student and one technician or programmer will be provided.
