POSTDOCTORAL POSITION: HUMAN VISION AND COMPUTATIONAL VISION.
Adelson Lab, Perceptual Science Group, MIT

A postdoctoral position is available for research in computational and
psychophysical aspects of vision. The research includes topics in
motion perception, and/or lightness and transparency, with an emphasis
on mid-level representations and perceptual organization. The ideal
applicant would have strong computational and mathematical skills,
some training in human or machine vision, and some experience with
computational models and/or digital image processing. Some of the
work will be collaborative with people at the MIT Artificial
Intelligence Laboratory. The position is for one year renewable to
two; salary is competitive.
