POSTDOCTORAL POSITION IN HUMAN VISION AND OCULOMOTOR RESEARCH.

Fresh-out or recent Ph.D. in Neuroscience, Psychology, Physiology or
related field sought to join an active visuomotor research group at
NASA Ames Research Center.

Experience in visual psychophysics, oculomotor research, and/or
computational modeling of visual or oculomotor mechanisms highly
desirable. Current
projects include examinations of the relationship between motion
perception and smooth
eye movements, and of that between perceptual localization and saccadic
eye movements during search.

The laboratory is equipped with state-of-the-art video-based eye
trackers and displays together with computer facilities for modeling and
data analysis. The
research environment in the Human Factors Research & Technology Division
at Ames
is both fun and high-powered with colleagues having a wide range of
expertise in
both applied and basic research in human information processing and
interface design.

NASA provides an excellent opportunity for postdotoral training
appropriate for future positions in academia, government, or the private
sector. Salary is
highly competitive and commensurate with experience.

Interested individuals should mail their CVs, a copy of their best
