We are seeking to appoint an Optometrist as a Cardiff Research Fellow
at the Professorial, Reader or Senior Lectureship level. You should
have an international record of excellence in vision research. Your
particular skills and expertise can take any form, however, you will
be expected to complement those already in the Department, e.g.
refraction, visual development, myopia, psychophysics,
electrophysiology, retinal imaging and contact lenses.

LECTURER
We are looking for a highly motivated and qualified Optometrist with
a good research portfolio to supplement an active research unit. You
must hold a PhD and have an interest in normal and abnormal vision in
relation to visual development. You should, therefore, have
experience in working with young children, especially those with
disabilities. You will be expected to develop your own area of
specialist interest and to apply for independent funding.
