Sorry if I'm posting at wrong place, since I noticed most messages are
for jobs. If that's the case, could you direct me to other resources?

I'm trying to test the duration of brief visual presentation on a CRT.
I know that it can be done with a fast photo cell and an oscilloscope. But
do you know how to make a usable photo cell? Or, is any photo cell ok?
