The digital video projector which I have recently acquired is made by the PLUS Corp. 3-B22, Nakase 1-Chome, Mihama-KU, Chiba 261-01, Japan.

Its resolution is 1024 x 768, spatially linear, 800 or 1000 lumens depending on the model (UP-1100 is 1000 lumens; U2-1080 is 800 lumens). I paid US$5,500.00 for the 800 lumen model. It weighs 5 pounds, has less than a square foot footpring, and is about 3 inches high! I bought mine through an audio visual distributor for that price.

Subject: Re: CVNet - query on CRT luminances
Have you considered one of the new digital video projectors? With their micromirror technology, I suspect they would give uniform luminance. If you would like more details, ask.

Subject: Monitor Luminance
Hi,
We need to find a display with uniform luminance over the screen for use in
psychophysical experiments. We have several NEC and Nanao monitors in the
lab and all of them show significant non-uniformities in luminance. I would
appreciate hearing from anyone who has identified monitors which are
superior in this regard.
Thanks,
Roy
