GRADUATE TRAINING IN BASIC and APPLIED VISION RESEARCH
FELLOWSHIPS, RESEARCH ASSISTANTSHIPS and TEACHING ASSISTANTSHIPS are
available to support students in our Ph.D. program in the Department of
Psychological and Brain Sciences at the University of Louisville.
Students receive training for careers in:
Vision research (e.g., neuroscience, molecular neurobiology,
psychophysics)
Human Factors applications of perception and cognition
Clinical applications in ophthalmology and visual disorders
Visual cognition and perception.
Interdisciplinary training and collaboration with vision scientists in
other programs is possible and encouraged (e.g., Cognitive Science,
Ophthalmology & Visual Sciences, Computer Vision Laboratory, Neurobiology,
Biochemistry, among others).
