ISCC PANCHROMATIC CONFERENCE COLOR IN ITS SURROUND

The Inter-Society Color Council's Second Panchromatic Conference will be
held on February 19-21, 2000 in Savannah, Georgia. Save money and register
by January 10, 2000. The registration fee can be paid by check, VISA,
Master Card or the Discover Card. Your hotel reservations should also be
made by that date. An online version of the registration form that may be
printed and mailed can be found on the web at:
    http://www.essc.psu.edu/~cbrewer/ISCCprog/registration.html .

The complete conference program, with abstracts and biographical information
on presenters, can be found on the web at:
http://www.essc.psu.edu/~cbrewer/ISCCprog . Late poster and demonstration
    entries can still be submitted.

In the tradition of ISCC Williamsburg and Panchromatic conferences, this
meeting will foster intensive interactions within a small group of
specialists from varied disciplines. This format will allow us to learn
from, and build on, each others' work. We will compare neural models and
appearance models, examine research methods, learn about new approaches and
applications, and study the richness of using color surrounds in art and
architecture. Demonstrations will help ground theoretical work in
    real-world surround effects.

Invited keynote talks to be presented at the conference are:

    Plates
    * Françoise Viénot, Muséum National d'Histoire Naturelle, Paris, France
