A postdoctoral research post is available in the MacKay Institute of =
Communication and Neuroscience, Keele University. The project will =
involve psychophysical research and modelling of human perception and is =
an investigation of the chromatic selectivity of global motion =
perception. It will require programming with the VSG graphics card =
(CRS). A Ph.D. in Experimental Psychology, Computer Science, Physics or =
Maths would be useful, but candidates from all backgrounds will be =
considered. The post is funded by the Wellcome Trust and the project is =
in collaboration with the University of Liverpool. The salary will be on =
the Research 1A Scale, according to age and experience. The post is =
available immediately and needs to be taken up before June 2000 and will =
be for a 3 year period.
