    A position is available immediately at Molecular Vision laboratory at the
    University of Illinois at Chicago to study mechanism of visual loss in
    transgenic models for human retinal diseases and to develop gene therapy
    strategies. Applicants must have strong laboratory research skills and a
    Ph.D., preferably with a specialization in vision research. Desirable
    background includes research experience in molecular biology and biochemistry.
    The research associate will play a key role in all aspects of a NIH
    grant-mandated research plan. Salary: $30,000 to $45,000 per year depending on
    qualifications and experience. The appointment is as a Research Associate and
    is for 12 months at 100% time. Applicants should submit a curriculum vita,
