    WELLCOME FUNDED POST DOCTORAL RESEARCH ASSOCIATE

    Salary UKP 16,286 - 24,479 p.a.

    We are seeking a research scientist with a PhD in a subject relevant to
    psychophysical or neuroimaging studies of human vision and/or reading to
    collaborate with different groups to study vision and reading with
    specific application to developmental dyslexia. The research project is an
    investigation of the relationship between natural variation in visual
    processing and the dynamics of visual word recognition. The research
    strategy integrates behavioural, eye-movement and neuroimaging (MEG and
    FMRI) techniques. Proven programming skills (particularly C++ and/or VB)
    would be an advantage.

    The post is available from May 2000 for 3 years. Salary will be on the
    appropriate point on the 1A scale and will be subject to Wellcome Level 2
    enhancement.
