    Subject: Fundamentals of Sensation & Perception text

    For those who have been kind enough to ask, yes, there will be a third
    edition of Levine & Shefner's Fundamentals of Sensation and Perception. The
    extensively revised text will be published by Oxford University Press this
    Spring. I am told they will have printed copies sometime in May.

    This edition will feature a CD (compatible with Windows 9x and NT) with
    color figures, demonstrations, sounds, and animations. I am hoping it will
    be set up at the Oxford booth at ARVO. I will also see whether a set of
    page proofs can be made available for anyone who feels so inclined to peruse.
