    Department of Physiology,
    Erasmus University Rotterdam,
To work with Eli Brenner and Jeroen Smeets

We are looking for someone who is interested in spending four years on a
project concerning the way we perceive 3D shape and how this information
guides the way we grasp objects.

The project is part of a larger programme (including groups from the
universities of Utrecht and Nijmegen). The purpose is to examine whether
there are really two distinct visual channels: one for perception and the
    other for action.

We are looking for a postdoc with experience in either perceptual
psychophysics or motor control. This experience should be visible from
first-author publications in international journals. Starting date will be
about 1 september 2000. The salary will conform to the standard rates in
    the Netherlands.

For more information contact Eli Brenner (brenner@fys.fgg.eur.nl).
