Postdoctoral Position in Visual Psychophysics or Modeling
                 Center for Neurobiology and Behavior
Columbia University and New York State Psychiatric Institute

A postdoctoral position in visual psychophysics or computational
modeling of vision is available immediately (starting date flexible).
The postdoc will join a small research group (one PI and three other
postdocs) working on vision-related projects including (but not
limited to) binocular depth perception, motion processing, and visual
perceptual learning. The details of the on-going projects in the lab
can be found at the web site listed below. The funding is available
for three years. The initial appointment will be for one year, and
will be renewable on a yearly basis.

The candidate should have a strong background in either visual
psychophysics or mathematical/computational modeling, as evidenced by
first-author publications. Programming skills in Matlab or C are also
highly desirable. Please send CV, two letters of reference, and
representative publications to the address listed below. Email
application and inquiry are encouraged, especially if you would like
to set up an interview at the coming ARVO meeting.
