    Lectureships, Senior Lectureships and Readerships in Optometry and Vision
    Sciences
    Salary Ranges from £17,238 to £38,561 p.a.

    The School of Life and Health Sciences is seeking to make several key
    appointments in Optometry in order to develop and consolidate its position
    in research and teaching. Research currently encompasses Ophthalmic &
    Physiological Optics, Psychophysics, Clinical Neurophysiology and
    Psychology. Teaching supports the undergraduate BSc Honours programme in
    Optometry which is currently one of the largest in the UK. There is an
    active programme for the substantial development and extension of
    postgraduate professional education and training in optometry.

    Successful candidates will be required to participate in teaching, research
    and administration in optometry and vision sciences. Consideration will be
    given to applicants offering any specialisms within optometry and vision
    sciences. Optometrists should be registered with the General Optical
    Council.
