Subject: postdoc in vision at McMaster

    Post-Doctoral Position for Fall 2000
    McMaster University
    Visual Neuroscience

Applications are now being accepted from postdoctoral candidates
interested in studying developmental plasticity and functional
    organization of the Visual Cortex.

A background in single-unit neurophysiology and/or Optical Imaging
is necessary. Familiarity with computational approaches and Matlab
programming is a benefit. These studies will use the new technique
of Optical Imaging of the intrinsic signal to study the visual cortex.

The research group includes Dr. Kathryn Murphy, Dr. David Jones, and
Dr. Ronald Racine. We have state-of-the-art facilities for experimental
and computational approaches to studying the visual cortex and a strong
    interdisciplinary research setting.

Please email if you would like to set up an interview at the up coming
    ARVO meeting.
