    A Postdoctoral position is available in the laboratory of David Ferster
    at Northwestern University. We are studying the neuronal circuitry
    underlying the responses of cortical neurons, applying<italic> in
    vivo</italic> whole-cell and sharp-electrode recording. Among other
    areas of interest are orientation selectivity, direction selectivity,
    length selectivity and contrast adaptation. Please see the web site

    A background in whole-animal or slice electrophysiology would be
    welcomed.
