    Subject: Standards for Visual Optics are available

    In Feb. 1999 a taskforce sponsored by the Optical Society of America was
    charged with establishing standards for reporting optical aberrations of
    eyes. In Feb. 2000 that taskforce issued a draft report which will be
    published in a future issue of Trends in Optics and Photonics. The report
    is also available for viewing and down-loading from the OSA WEB site
    OpticsNet at the following URL:

    The taskforce invites comments & suggestions from the vision science
    community. Comments may be directed to any of the following individuals.
