POST-DOCTORAL RESEARCH WORKER

Applications are invited from experienced researchers for a post-doctoral
research position on a project funded by the Wellcome Trust. The
successful candidate will have a PhD in visual neuroscience, neuroscience
or psychology and will become a member of a small team using fMRI, EEG and
psychophysical techniques, separately and in combination, to study the
relationship between the visual brain and the visual mind.
Responsibilities will include the design, execution and analysis of
electrophysiological, neuroimaging and psychophysical experiments in normal
subjects and patients with visual disorders. If required, training in fMRI
and EEG techniques will be provided.
The post is funded for one and a half years in the first instance and would
suit researchers either pursuing a career in visual neuroscience or with an
interest in multi-modal imaging techniques.
Starting salary in the range £20,319 pa to £22,945 pa (inclusive of London
allowance), depending on qualifications and experience.
