Subject: Vision and the Aging Eye
Optometry and Vision Science is soliciting manuscripts for a feature issue
on Vision and the Aging Eye to be published in Spring 2001. A feature issue
provides the opportunity for your work to be published alongside similar
subject matter.
The scope of the feature issue covers all areas dealing with the aging eye
and its visual function, but we are particularly interested in papers
dealing with anatomical, physiological, and optical age changes in the
normal eye, presbyopia, age-related eye disease, and vision impairment.
Complete manuscripts of previously unpublished research should be prepared
according to the instructions to authors published in Optometry and Vision
Science (www.aaopt.org/OVSinfo/ovs.html). Manuscripts will be subjected to
peer review under the editorial guidance of David B. Elliott, Adrian
Glasser, and Gary S. Rubin.
Please submit your manuscript by August 1, 2000 to the Editorial Office at
the address below. If you are interested in submitting a manuscript but
perceive difficulty in meeting this deadline, please contact the Editorial
