    Greetings,

    We are pleased to announce the first meeting of the Vision Sciences Society,
    to be held next Spring, May 4-8th, 2001 in Sarasota, Florida. Our goal is
    to establish a multidisciplinary meeting where both new and established
    investigators can present their work in a relaxed, informal setting. Please
    consult our website http://www.VisionScienceS.org for further information
    and updates as the meeting date approaches. Also, use this website to get on
    the mailing list to receive future announcements.

    The VisionScienceS Society is committed to progress in understanding vision
