Post-doctoral position in eye movements and visual cognition at Michigan State
    University.

A post-doctoral position in eye movements and visual cognition is available in
the Eye Movement Laboratory, Department of Psychology and Cognitive Science
Program, Michigan State University. Current topics of investigation in the lab
include transsaccadic memory and integration, and gaze control in complex
visual tasks such as scene recognition, visual search, and visually-guided
navigation. Candidates interested in these or related topics are encouraged to
apply. Eyetracking facilities include a dual-Purkinje-image eyetracker, an
ISCAN video-based eyetracker, and an ASL head-mounted portable eyetracker. The
dual-Purkinje-image eyetracker is interfaced with a graphics system that
    allows
for gaze-contingent display changes of complex scenes. More information about
the lab and ongoing projects can be found at http://eyelab.msu.edu/, and
specific inquiries can be directed via email to John M. Henderson at
    john@eyelab.msu.edu.

The position is available as early as September 2000 though the start date is
flexible. Consideration of applications will begin July 1 and will continue
until an appropriate candidate is found. Applicants must have completed the
doctoral degree prior to taking the position. Interested applicants should
    send
a CV, statement of research interests, representative publications, and 3
letters of recommendation to Postdoctoral Search, Cognitive Science Program,
129 Psychology Research Building, Michigan State University, East Lansing, MI
