Post-doctoral position in eye movements and visual cognition at Michigan State
University.
A post-doctoral position in eye movements and visual cognition is available in
the Eye Movement Laboratory, Department of Psychology and Cognitive Science
Program, Michigan State University. Current topics of investigation in the lab
include transsaccadic memory and integration, and gaze control in complex
visual tasks such as scene recognition, visual search, and visually-guided
navigation. Candidates interested in these or related topics are encouraged to
apply. Eyetracking facilities include a dual-Purkinje-image eyetracker, an
ISCAN video-based eyetracker, and an ASL head-mounted portable eyetracker. The
dual-Purkinje-image eyetracker is interfaced with a graphics system that
allows
for gaze-contingent display changes of complex scenes. More information about

The position is available as early as September 2000 though the start date is
flexible. Consideration of applications will begin July 1 and will continue
